For salon owners

Running a good salon shouldn't mean
the owner carrying every single thing.

HAO first gets your salon — and every stylist in it — found in Asian-hair search abroad. Then My Salon, Reply Pro™, Consult Pro™, Booking Desk™ and Salon Kits take the inquiries, consultations, bookings, team and daily shop work into one workflow. You steer. The repetitive work goes to the system.

Your Google listing tells clients where you are.
HAO tells them what you're actually great at.

A salon page inside the Asian-hair discovery ecosystem: services, languages, hours, photos, the team's specialties, and where to book — the things a searching client actually compares.

Salon Profile → the team → book / contact

No ranking promises — we build the doors and make sure your page can catch what walks through them.

It's not just one shop getting seen.
Every chair gets its own professional door.

Salon Profile

The brand: location, services, hours, team, booking destination.

Stylist Profiles

Each professional: portfolio, languages, specialties, their own identity.

The salon sends visibility to its stylists; the stylists send expertise and context back to the salon. Not a static “meet the team” page — two kinds of pages, linked.

The owner sees the whole shop.
Each stylist runs their own chair.

Owner → My Salon

Salon page · team view · salon tools · billing

Team member → My Chair

Own Profile · portfolio · personal tools · client-facing assets

Owner and stylist at once? One account holds both — you switch between My Salon and My Chair inside the same login. Each stylist manages their own page; HAO doesn't hand owners their team's private data.

What does HAO actually do inside a salon?

01 · Get the salon found

Salon Profile + Directory

Being great isn't the same as being findable.

Be represented accurately inside the Asian-hair discovery ecosystem — team included.

02 · Get every chair found

Stylist Profiles + My Chair

Clients don't book a building — they book a person they trust.

The salon brand gets a presence while each professional still shows their own work, languages and specialties.

03 · Handle inquiries

Reply Pro™

“Who does Korean perm?” “Does anyone speak Mandarin?” “Open Sunday?” “Which location?”

A digital front-desk layer: it drafts the reply in your salon's voice, you glance and send — less repetitive communication, not less humanity.

04 · Improve consultations

Consult Pro™

Consultation quality shouldn't depend on which stylist happens to explain things beautifully.

Professional judgment made visible to the client — clearer expectations, stronger trust, across the whole team.

05 · Turn interest into bookings

Booking Desk™LIVE · Free to use

The inquiry is in a phone; the schedule is in another system.

Connects the Square and Google Calendar you already run — bookings and payments stay on your own system.

Do you need another full salon system — or just the HAO layer?

Square, Fresha, Vagaro and GlossGenius are strong booking and business platforms. The honest question isn't “who replaces whom” — it's which layer you're missing.

You don't necessarily need to switch systems.
You might just be missing the HAO layer.

If you already run Square — keep Square. Connect HAO where supported, and use HAO for the parts your booking software was never primarily designed to solve: Asian-hair client discovery, a professional Profile, consultation, the inquiry workflow, and lightweight chair tools.

Built inside a real salon · founder-operated HAO pilot

We run a salon ourselves, so we know exactly what eats an owner's evenings — and it's usually not the hair. It's replying to inquiries, fixing the price menu, sorting schedules, chasing bookings, calculating commission, organizing client records, making content… and doing it all again tomorrow. HAO isn't software we dreamed up first and then found salons to test. These are the jobs we do every day and didn't want to redo by hand — so we started turning them into tools, one by one.

HAO-JIAN-CAI Hair Salon

What we use HAO for in our own shop

Only what we actually run or have tested internally — nothing aspirational:

  • Salon page + stylist Profiles
  • Square connection (live production merchant, 3 locations)
  • Reply Pro™ (tested against real inquiry scenarios)
  • Consult Pro™ (in-chair consultations)
  • Content Kits — price menu, calendar, before/after

Find your salon on HAO

Search your salon by name — if it's here, claiming takes minutes.

Owners ask us

Is my salon Profile really free?

Yes. Finding, claiming and running your salon page is free. Claims go through human review before you take over the page.

I already have a Google Business Profile — why HAO?

Google tells clients where you are. HAO's salon page lives inside the Asian-hair ecosystem and tells them what you're great at: services, languages, the team and their work — the things a searching client compares.

I already use Square — can I keep it?

Yes. Booking Desk™ is built to connect the Square you already run. Nothing else on HAO touches it.

I'm on Fresha / Vagaro / GlossGenius — do I have to migrate?

No. HAO isn't a booking-system replacement — keep your system for bookings and payments; HAO adds the discovery, identity, consultation and communication layer. (Calendar connections currently support Square and Google Calendar.)

What's the difference between My Salon and My Chair?

My Salon is the owner view — the salon page, the team, salon tools and billing. My Chair is each stylist's own workspace — their Profile, portfolio and personal tools.

Do my stylists need their own accounts?

Yes — each stylist manages their own Profile and My Chair with their own account. Their professional identity belongs to them.

I'm both the owner and a stylist — what then?

One account holds both roles; you switch between My Salon and My Chair inside the same login.

Can Reply Pro™ help the whole shop?

Yes — use it on the inquiries your salon account receives: pricing, who does which service, languages, hours. It drafts; you send.

Why does Consult Pro™ matter to an owner?

Because consultation quality shouldn't depend on which stylist happens to explain best. It makes professional judgment visible to the client, so expectations line up across the team.

What does Booking Desk™ support today?

Connecting an existing Square account (locations and services sync) and reading Google Calendar availability. The connections run in production; the kit opens on the shelf free of charge once rollout completes.

Do I have to subscribe to every Kit?

No. Each paid Kit is its own subscription — take one, or none.

Is a Kit priced per head or per account?

Per account. The account that subscribes uses the tool — not per head, not per location.

If I cancel a paid Kit, what happens to my free salon Profile?

Nothing. Your Profile and the free Kits were never attached to any paid subscription — you just stop paying for the tool you cancelled.

What earns the claimed/verified badge?

Claiming your salon and passing human review. After approval the page is yours to manage and shows as claimed.
