You don't need a new system to use Booking Desk™ — but you do need a Square Appointments account. For a solo stylist, Square's own plan is free, and it takes an afternoon, not a migration.
- Free plan: your own online booking page, scheduling and automatic reminders — Square's pricing, not ours.
- In the US, turning on online booking also lists you in Square Go, Square's free client booking app (iOS), with verified reviews.
- Also free on Square: a "Book" button on your Instagram profile and Reserve with Google (book straight from Search and Maps) — worth switching on while you're there.

Does Booking Desk™ cost money?
Not right now. HAO Booking Desk™ is $0/month. Fees from Square, Google or other third-party services still follow their own plans.
Do I have to use Square?
Yes — Booking Desk™ connects to Square. If you're not on it yet, Square Appointments has a free plan for solo stylists (see "Not on Square yet?" above). You don't need Booking Desk to use the rest of HAO.
Does it replace my Square?
No. Booking Desk™ connects to the system you already use — your bookings stay in your Square workflow.
Does HAO touch my clients' payments?
No. Payments are processed by your own Square, directly. HAO never handles your Square income.
Will Reply Pro™ make up prices?
Reply Pro™ only quotes real prices you've provided through HAO or Square. When data is missing it asks you to confirm instead of inventing — and you review every reply before it's sent.
What is Google Calendar for?
On accounts with Google Calendar connected, HAO can reference busy/free windows so replies match times you're genuinely available. A free calendar slot is not automatically a bookable appointment — your Square stays the source of truth.
