Joico K-PAK Clarifying Shampoo is a chelating wash that detoxes hard water, chlorine and minerals while its keratin helps protect already-damaged hair from the strip — a useful combination for dense, color-treated Asian hair abroad, where harder water than home leaves a mineral film that reads dull and stiff, but a plain clarifier can leave fragile lengths rough. Used weekly in place of your normal shampoo, it resets the hair so masks and color can reach it, with a little more support for damaged strands than a bare clarifier.
